About Rescue Automotive

Rescue Automotive is a full service mechanic and collision repair shop.

Located at 10531 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32817, Rescue Automotive operates as an auto repair shop serving Orlando in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (407) 658-9040. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is rescueyourcar.repair, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 567 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Orlando and suggests consistent service.

Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Orlando follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I can’t recommend Rescue Automotive enough! I was experiencing a concerning issue where my car would shake while accelerating at higher speeds. After a friend referred me, I called Rescue Automotive, and they let me bring my car in the very same day. Abdel was incredibly kind and compassionate throughout the entire process. He diagnosed the issue within the day and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, what he repaired, and why. I never felt pressured into unnecessary workβ€”instead, he was honest, transparent, and genuinely wanted to help. As a father, his empathy and integrity really stood out. Not only did they fix the problem, but they also saved me a significant amount of money compared to what I was expecting to pay. Before considering the repair complete, Abdel even encouraged me to test drive the car on the highway myself to make sure I was completely satisfied with the results. If you’re looking for an honest, knowledgeable mechanic who truly cares about his customers, I would 100% recommend Rescue Automotive. They’ve earned my trust, and I’ll definitely be returning for any future automotive needs.

I've grown up in the Orlando area for most of my life, and for as long as Abdel's had a shop my family's been going to it. We were there before he expanded the garages, before the lifts were moved into them, and before the front lobby became the front lobby. The only thing that hasn't changed is Abdel himself. That man does the work of a dozen, and is just as honest. The prices he gives are usually cheaper than the rest, and his work ethic is above and beyond. He does his best to remember the names and faces of his customers, and photographs the work he does for the sake of transparency. He can be curt at times, but that's easily forgiven in the face of his kidness. Just before the spring heat started slamming us, he swapped by A/C Compressor in my Camry - and recharged my system for no extra cost. Before that, he'd done work on my Alternator and swapped the Battery for me. He's kept this same Camry running new for nearly 210k miles, and I know he could do it for another 90k easy as pie. A word to the wise, though: he takes on a lot of work, resulting in work taking a little longer than most other shops. For quality, that extra time for him to work on it is worthwhile.

Went here awhile back for a check engine light and my car going into Limp mode. I never received a call from him so I called him and he had an update. How come he did not call me when he found out? He asked me to find the part because he could not source them. I asked him is this going to fix the issue and he said it’s a start. I got the parts and took it to him and he replace them. Again he never called me when my car was ready or gave me any updates. So I called again and he said it’s ready now. What was fishy is when I went in he tried to charge me a price that he didt say on the phone and I was like that’s not the price you said. He was like okay let’s do that price. He also broke my hood prop. When I mentioned it he said he didt break it. I did not drop off the car with a broken hood prop. I work on my car to sometimes. So I fixed the hood prop myself out of my own pocket. A few days later the check engine light came back on and the car went into limp mode. I called him took it back and all he did was reprogram it and clear the code himself. The problem was never fixed and I spent a total of $350. I took it to another shop and they found out the issue within a few hours and ha

Abdel was so amazing! He analyzed my car and told me he’ll tell me if my list that I came in with, is what I really needed done (I wasn’t sure). He gave me the price breakdown and never once pushed me to get it alll done at once. He was super nice, patient, super fast too when I said he didn’t need to rush! He also was really nice and offered to pick me up when he was done (I was in the area). Great guy and shop overall! Would def recommend and will be back!

Abdel at Rescue Automotive is, without question, one of the most honest, trustworthy, and hardworking people I have ever met. While traveling through Orlando from out of state, my radiator unexpectedly failed, leaving me stranded, stressed, and unsure of where to turn. Like many travelers, I didn't know any local mechanics and was concerned about finding someone I could truly trust. Fortunately, Abdel came highly recommended, and that recommendation proved invaluable. From our very first conversation, he was transparent, responsive, and genuinely caring. He took the time to explain everything, kept me informed throughout the repair process, and treated me with the same care and respect he would offer a member of his own family. In an industry where trust means everything, Abdel stands out for all the right reasons. His integrity, professionalism, and commitment to helping others are second to none. Thanks to him, what could have been a nightmare experience became a manageable one. If you're in the Orlando area and need a mechanic you can trust completely, I cannot recommend Rescue Automotive highly enough.
